"As a type1 diabetic I have gone through over 6 different types of insulin and having to inject myself up to 5 times a day and I still struggled to get a reasonable control of diabetes. However since I have been on my insulin pump I now experience quality of life, I can sleep in, only test when I eat or am feeling unwell and it has given me freedom.

If I want to go to a birthday party, the pump allows me to eat whatever I like and I can easily correct the BG's later if I need to. The pump has also initiated me to meet new people and I now have a 'pumpers' group meeting locally and a small group of us discuss diabetes and share what's been happening.

The pump has changed my life and I am very thankful to the team at MDNZ for their support."
